In 1953 Dr. Jürg Heinz Faesch together with
Dr. Werner Blumer established our law firm at its present location on Basel’s market square.

The partnership was soon joined by Dr. Peter Von der Mühll, at which time the law firm also became a notary’s office. This trio then worked to together unchanged in composition until Andreas Waldmann entered the firm in 1982. In 1987 they were joined by Dr. Heinz Lukas Faesch, the son of the founder of the firm, who since 2004 has been President of Basel-Stadt Criminal Court.

When Daniel Olstein joined the firm in 1991 the present name of wfp Waldmann Faesch & Partner was adopted, which made it the first legal practice in the location to have a company name.

With the appointments of Etienne Petitpierre in 1992, Bettina Waldmann in 2000, Javier Ferreiro in 2004, Martina Häring in 2004 and Dr. Sarah Wenger in 2010 the firm of wfp Waldmann Faesch & Partner enjoyed further growth. The addition of the 6th floor of Gerbergasse 1 to the firm’s premises provided space to match the number of personnel.
